Hey Pat, please introduce yourself
I am a french canadian artist that lives in Montreal, Québec. I studied graphic arts and design but I was always interested in illustration and abstraction art. I like travelling and exploring different cities and nature as well.
What have you been doing before becoming an artist?
A few years ago, I was an art director working for a big agency but the software technologies were changing too fast and the pressure became too much for me. I decided to change my career and I returned to non-digital visual arts.
What is important to you as an artist?
I am a contemporary and abstract artist. I like to create various « modern » paintings but the most important think, its trying to be different and original in what I do…
What are some of your current goals?
To stand out and be recognized for my work. Have my art exposed in many other countries. I have a lot of ambitions, I know… 😉
Any thoughts that you would like to share?
The direction in which I choose to travel through space is constantly changing and being able to adapt myself is always a challenge but also, an inspiration.
Pat Deziel ★ Artist resume
My work revolves around the different connections between humans and nature. The path of life is strewn with intersections and junctions, and it can become a veritable maze to explore. Taming the road to the unknown, discovering new horizons, creating links and being inspired by the surrounding nature is at the heart of my creations. The landscapes and connections that run through our time on earth influence humans’ emotionality and interactions.
Thank you, Pat.
