Wondrous geometric worlds by AdeB
A few words about you
I dabbled in painting when I was 7 years old and since then I have painted geometric worlds. I am also a filmmaker.
What’s the driving force behind you work?
I feel a huge need to express my abstraction through geometric painting. I enjoy how shapes and colors look in this palpable world.
What defines your particular style?
I persist in geometric abstractionism. Through the line I approach the synthesis of forms, creating dynamic, organic and archetypal compositions that suggest movement in space, giving a genuine prominence to color and shape.
What are your objectives?
I do not seek to praise the landmark of modernity, but rather, I suggest the need to explore a visual tradition of great importance from the present.
Artistic philosophy
Possible images, possible worlds.
AdeB’s closing words
In the center of the lagoon nothing floats, everything yes.
AdeB ★ Artist resume
From abstractionism, as a fundamentally philosophical idea, I take utopia as a feeling of freedom and creator of itself; and from geometry its supposed neutrality, to generate scenes of lines that evoke forms and figures that emerge from each segment.
Thank you, Adeb.
